Enugu Council Chairman Rewards Primary School Teachers For Excellent Performance; Punctuality, Regularity, Diligence.

 

There was jubilation among the teachers yesterday in Awgu Local Government Area as the council Chairman, Hon. Pedro Okwudili Nwankwo rewarded the Primary School Teachers in their Annual Teachers' Ceremony organised by the Council Education Secretary, Nwakaego Ajah "Egodel."


The annual event which attracted the presence of notable Personalities from Enugu West such as the incoming Senator Enugu West, Hon. Engr. Osita Ngwu; the incoming House of Rep. Member Awgu/Aninri/Oji-River Federal Constituency, Chief Engr. Anayọ Ọnwụegbu; the Chief Whip Enugu State/House of Assembly member Awgu North State Constituency, Hon. Mrs Jane Chinwendu Eneh; the House of Assembly member Oji-River State Constituency, Hon. Jeff Mbah; the Commissioner for Science and Technology ENUGU STATE, Hon. Prince Obi Karl Kama; CEO Fontana Group of Companies, Chief Ossy Nwobi; the PDP Flag-bearer Awgu South State Constituency, Hon. Tony Nwankwọ; the Secretary Awgu LG Council, Hon. Linus Maduka; The SA to His Excellency Gburugburu, Hon. Prince Okwy Ekoh; the SA to His Excellency Gburugburu on Media/Radio, Hon. Ken Onyekaonwu; Chief Emeka Udeh "Udemex"; the CEO Blessed Destiny Energy LTD Enugu, Hon. Chief Gilbert Ọnụoha "IjijiAnaEsoruMma"; Engr. Christian Enebe; the Administrators Awgu Central and Mbanabọ North Dev. Centers, Hon. Maximus Oha and Hon. Solomon Egbo respectively; Ogbuefi Chidi Ejinaka; the Councilors; the Supervisors/SPAs and other notable guests was held at council Secretariat on Wednesday, 30th of November 2022.


Best Teachers in the four different Development Centers, in the two Constituencies in Awgu LG, in Awgu LG Council and other categories were awarded - for their performance, diligence, punctuality, attendance, quality results - with cash reward, certificates and plaques.


The teachers took out time to express their desire and pleaded for their needs to be addressed by our Incoming Representatives when they took over their positions as Senate, House of Rep., House of Assemblies.


It was also an interactive session that offered the Flag-bearers of PDP the opportunity to encourage the teachers to work hard, smarter and offer more while promising them that all their efforts will be rewarded here on Earth.


The Education Secretary, Nwakaego Ajah thanked the Chairman Awgu LGA, Hon. Pedro Okwudili Nwankwo for his massive support and his love to Education sector in Awgu LG and appreciated other guests in her Vote of Thanks.
