On the 13th day of August 2020, His Excellency Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, the Executive Governor of Enugu state hosted the Students’ leaders of Enugu state to a town hall meeting at Nike Lake Hotel to interact with them, strengthen the government-students relationship already existing and get their feedback on how the government can further improve their welfare.



His Excellency who was represented by the state’s commissioner for youth and sports, Hon. Tony Manfred Nzekwe while unveiling the plans of the government for the students of the tertiary institutions in the state commended the students for their peaceful disposition and for their strategic partnership in ensuring that they move the state forward.


He admonished the students to be law abiding and good ambassadors of the state wherever they find themselves and assured them of his continuous support to ensure they attain their full potentials.

The event had in attendance the S.A to the Governor on students’ affairs, Hon. Ilogebe Chidi; the Executive Secretary Enugu Schorlarship Board, Hon. Barr. Levis Abonyi; the SPA to the Governor on Agriculture, Hön. Mike Ogbuekwe; the SPA to the Governor on SME Development, Hon. Arinze Chilo-Offiah, the Youth Council Chairman, Comr. Ugwu Pascal, the Dep. Cordinator NANS Zone B, Comr. Ugwuegbe Darlington, SUG Presidents and other student leaders.
