UNITING AGAINST CHILD LABOUR: HON. ENGR. ANAYO ONWUEGBU'S CALL TO ACTION

As the world marks the World Day Against Child Labour on June 12, Hon. Engr. Anayo Onwuegbu FNSE, Member Representing Aninri/Awgu/Oji River Federal Constituency, reaffirms his commitment to ending child labour. This year's theme resonates strongly with our collective responsibility to protect the rights, dignity, and future of every child.

Hon. Onwuegbu's message is clear: "Let children learn, not earn. Let's all join hands to say no to child labour." This statement underscores the importance of prioritizing children's education and well-being over economic gains. Every child deserves access to quality education, a safe environment, and the opportunity to grow and thrive.

Child labour not only robs children of their innocence and future but also undermines the development of our communities. It is imperative that we work together to eradicate this menace. Hon. Onwuegbu calls on parents, educators, community leaders, policymakers, and all stakeholders to collaborate in promoting policies and actions that:

As a legislator, Hon. Onwuegbu remains committed to supporting laws and initiatives that uphold children's rights and promote education and welfare across the constituency and the nation at large. His dedication to this cause is a testament to his vision for a brighter future for all children.

Noting that, the fight against child labour requires a collective effort. As such, we must work together to create a society where no child is forced to work at the expense of their education and well-being. To this end, let join hands, to build a brighter future for our children and out communities.

In conclusion, let's us heed Hon. Onwuegbu's call to action and work towards a future where every child has access to quality education, healthcare, and opportunities for growth.

Together, we can make a difference and create a world where children can thrive and reach their full potential.
