ENUGU STATE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION ISSUES DIRECTIVE ON WAEC REGISTRATION



The Enugu State Ministry of Education has released a public service announcement outlining the payment procedure for the 2024-2025 West African Examinations Council (WAEC) registration.

According to the directive, all schools cleared by the Ministry of Education are required to pay the WAEC registration fees on or before Monday, February 24, 2025. Late payment may result in sanctions against the affected schools.

To facilitate a seamless registration process, the Ministry has provided the following payment guidelines:

1. Visit: https://irs.en.gov.ng/pay/remita

2. Select "Pay with Bill Number"

3. Enter the bill number assigned to your school to display the payment amount

4. Enter "Amount to Pay" and complete the payment

The directive, signed by Professor Ndubueze L. Mbah, the Honourable Commissioner for Education, Enugu State, emphasizes the importance of timely payment to avoid any disruptions to the registration process.

The Enugu State Ministry of Education has urged all concerned stakeholders, including school managers, proprietors, education boards, and commissions, to take note of the directive and comply accordingly.
