ENUGU SME AGENCY, IN COLLABORATION WITH 234FINANCE AND VOICE OF THE EAST, HOSTS SUCCESSFUL BOOTCAMP CLOSING EVENT TO CELEBRATE THE INNOVATIVE SPIRIT OF LOCAL ENTREPRENEURS


The Enugu SME Agency, in collaboration with 234Finance and Voice of the East, proudly presented an SME Bootcamp Closing Event to celebrate the innovative spirit of local entrepreneurs in the State.

The event, which took place recently, was a culmination of the SME Bootcamp programs aimed at empowering small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Enugu State. It showcased the best of the State's entrepreneurial community, featuring a keynote speech, panel discussion, and pitching competition.

The keynote speech delivered at the event, highlighted the power of collaboration amongst businesses, to build stronger brands and drive for collective success, setting the tone for the rest of the occasion, which was filled with inspiring moments and thought-provoking conversations for sustainable growth and innovations in the South East.

Participants at the event, presented their innovative ideas via passion and determination. However, after a fierce competition, Angela Jidechukwu Nwabueze of Jelapetra Farms, Chibuike Nnebe of Astrae and Okereke Kate of Kavita Foods, won the top prize of 2 million Naira, 1.5 million Naira and 1 million Naira respectively, for their remarkable dedication and creativity which reflected the potentialities of the State's local entrepreneurs.

Featured in the special event and pitching competition, were groundbreaking ideas judged by an esteemed panel made up of the SPA on Digital Economy and MSMEs cum DG of Enugu SME Center; Hon. Arinze Chilo Offiah, Group CEO of Eastside Ventures & Founder of The Women International; Chinny Okoye, Founder of Mina Real Estate Limited; Dr. Munachino Obinna Eze, Founder of Moneda Invest; Ejike Egbuagu, and the Founder of 234Finance; Ezinne Nwazulu.

The Enugu SME Agency expressed pride in all the participants for their innovative ideas, and also thanked His Excellency, Dr. Peter Mbah, for his continued support saying, "We extend our heartfelt thanks to His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Mbah, for his continued support towards SME and Startup Development.

"We are incredibly proud of all the participants and their innovative ideas. The enthusiasm and creativity on display were truly inspiring, and we can’t wait to see what they achieve next.
