The PDP candidate for Awgu South State Constituency,Enugu State House of Assembly, Hon.Anthony Nwankwo alongside his beautiful wife, yesterday, 8th of January, 2023 celebrated the new year with windows at his country home Ugwueme as he gifts out cash gifts and other materials.


While addressing the windows, He stated that it has always being his heart desire to reach out to them. In his words" having you our mothers in my residence today to celebrate the new year is a dream come true for me. It has been my desire to know you all one by one and today, we are dinning and winning together, as we have started this,we shall continue to do it to show that we are one family''. 


Mrs Akuagbu, one of the aged widows greatly thrilled by his philanthropic gesture, lauded his large-heartedness and showered him with prayers of blessings and prosperity.  Other windows  expressed their gratitude while receiving their packages as they sang and prayed for him. 







The new year get together party was for widows drawn from the six villages that made up Ugwueme.
