ENUGU NYSC CAMP IN MORIBUND: IGWE ADINDE INTERVENES, EXTENDS HIS PHILANTHROPY.

The Enugu state National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) today had her 2023 batch A stream 2 swearing in ceremony of her national corp members at the permanent orientation camp in Agwu.

The swearing in which was well attended by collaborating agencies and government officials had in its swearing in ,the Executive Governor of Enugu State ably represented by the Hon. Commissioner for youths and sports Hon Manfred Nzekwe , the Enugu state Chief Justice,Local Government chairman all in  representative capacities among others.

The swearing-in had many mixed feelings as one of the Enugu Born Estate Surveyor ,philanthropist and a special guest at the inaugural  ceremony, IGWE ADINDE CHIBUEZE PHILIP ,DG Rock Ambassador for Peter Mbah after  a  brief tour at the dilapidated orientation camp Enugu with Barr.(Mrs ) Gladys Adama the NYSC State Coordinator. Igwe Adinde Chibueze Philip  was dumbfounded at the state of the orientation camp and immediately donated a cash price of 500,000 naira to NYSC to help savage the situation on ground.

The NYSC Coordinator Who spoke passionately about the state of NYSC orientation camp informed our news men that Enugu Orientation camp is historic as the camp was established by Major General Yakubu Gowon himself and lamented profusely on the  dilapidated state of the camp.

The coordinator who shade tears stressed that she is from Benue and Enugu is her second home and as a mother who loves her children called on all relevant agencies and state government to immediately come to their rescue stating that NYSC produces a commensurate Enugu state work force and needed to be catered for.

The camp among others is the only camp in Nigeria  without a parade ground , hospitable hostels, zero road network with a stoney walk way , dilapidated building and oven like hostels among other ill facilities she added .
