NANS CONGRATULATES PROF. MALACHY OKWUEZE ON HIS APPOINTMENT AS DEPUTY CHIEF OF STAFF TO THE ENUGU STATE GOVERNOR..LAUDS GOV. UGWUANYI FOR PUTTING SQUARE PEGS IN SQUARE HOLES.
The Enugu state chapter of the apex students body has congratulated Professor Malachy Okwueze on his well deserved appointment as deputy Chief of staff to the Enugu state Governor, His Excellency Rt Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi. In a statement made available to press men and signed by the Deputy coordinator of NANS zone B Comrade Darlington Ugwuegbe, the apex students body stated that the timely appointment of professor Okwueze will not only usher in fresh energy into the Governor Ugwuanyi's administration but is also another testament of Gov. Ugwuanyi's unrelenting resolve in repositioning Enugu state through strategic deployment of capable human capital.
"Professor Malachy Okwueze is about one of the most seasoned administrators emerging from the university of Nigeria (UNN) leadership clan with an enviably impeccable track record of academic and leadership accomplishments
"While we heartily congratulate the erudite professor for this well deserved appointment, we must note that Governor Ugwuanyi's appointment of Professor Okwueze as deputy chief of staff indeed not only serves the case of a square peg in a square hole but further endorses the readiness of the Gbugburu leadership team to play with the state's first and best eleven".
The apex students body NANS also bares spotlight on Prof Ukwueze compassionate leadership dispositions noting that overtime constituted students union leaderships have enjoyed robust mentor-mentege relationship with the erudite professor stretching from his days as the dean of students affairs of UNN, head of university senate ceremonial, and deputy vice chancellor of the university. According to the students body, " A man like prof Okwueze is a golden fish that has no hiding place"
Before his appointment as deputy Chief of staff, Prof Okwueze was the vice Chancellor, Coal city university. A position that he has maximised to ensure that the university is enviably repositioned to meet the global demands of 21st century education.
